In the comprehensive revamp of unity.com, my role involved orchestrating a cohesive redesign across various pages and overseeing the event execution for 2020, including the inaugural Unity for Humanity Summit. Collaborating closely with the Creative Studio, project owners, and copywriters, I utilized Unity’s design system and web component library to tackle diverse business challenges.
This included crafting user-centric landing pages and enhancing the design system by updating and adding new components to increase usability and coherence. I also developed impactful case studies to showcase our innovations and engage users.

At Unity Technologies, teamwork was essential. Our weekly design critique meetings were a key part of this process, where we shared feedback to improve our work. I also had regular meetings with the head of design to ensure our projects met business goals, but I was given the freedom to lead my own projects. This approach helped me grow and contribute positively to the company.
Unity Support Pages Redesign

The Unity support pages initially presented a distinct challenge due to their stylistic divergence from other Unity online platforms. This inconsistency led users to mistakenly perceive the site as untrustworthy, potentially a phishing attempt. Addressing this critical issue, my objective was to enhance accessibility, cohesiveness, and navigational ease to unify the user experience across all platforms.
Approach
To rectify these issues, I embarked on a comprehensive redesign of the support pages. This involved a meticulous process of aligning the visual and functional aspects of the support pages with the established Unity brand guidelines to ensure a seamless user experience. Key improvements targeted enhanced way-finding and streamlined ticket submission processes, making it easier for users to receive the help they needed without confusion or distrust.
Impact
Post-redesign testing revealed significant improvements in user engagement and satisfaction. The refined support pages not only alleviated user concerns about the legitimacy of the site but also optimized their journey through the ticket submission process. This strategic overhaul demonstrated a tangible positive impact on the user experience, thereby reinforcing trust in the Unity brand and increasing the efficiency of customer support interactions.
